College rant number 2: Why did I even bother applying to Stanford?? And I feel lame because all I can think of as far as what I've done is along the lines of "I'm a fan of Japanese idols, am mildly obsessed with tea, read books for the intrinsic pleasure of them rather than how profound they are and have a really good memory for anecdotes and quotes. I also like languages and have a social life in that I invite my three friends over for tea occasionally," none of which is particularly inspiring or would recommend me as worthwhile investment for a college: basically, I need explainable or inspiring hobbies. Why isn't everything based on grades?? D:

it's not too hard, because you can frame everything around the rhyme scheme. It just takes a good half an hour. Limericks are easy that way, too~

I think you did well with distancing yourself enough from the topic so that it's not overly explaining itself, and that it made sense to people who didn't know your source of inspiration:)

Also, lol, I understand your predicament. But, my grades aren't the greatest, so I think I'd be happy they considered extra curricular activities:)
