Deann slept over last night and we watched all of Maou and First I thought it was going to be formulaic and nothing special, but then it wasn't and Ohno was getting more and more gorgeous as it went along and completely eclipsed Toma and he kept getting more and more human and his relationship with the girl was beautiful and awesome and wonderful and he makes the best sad faces ever because his eyes kinda flicker back and forth and his lips tremble and kfjlsad;jgkl;sa and the part where Toma was saying they're the same was so fjdlsk;a and WAAAAAAAAAHHHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT ENDED LIKE THAT IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND LOVELY AND FJDLKS SO FITTING AND I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH AND THEY BOTH PROBABLY WENT TO HEAVEN TOGETHER AND IT WAS SO CUTE AND KFJLD HOW THEY WERE BOTH TRYING TO REDEEM THE OTHER AND JFDLSA I HATE THE GLASSES GUY WITH A FLAMING PASSION BECAUSE EVERYTHING COULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY AND WORKED OUT HAD HE NOT BEEN THEREEEEEEE. i really liked how it was more Naruse-centric than Naoto-centric. ♥♥
basically, I cried for the entire last episode. my eyes feel hot. D: I love how Naoto told naruse all the same things Shiori did, and how Naruse gave shiori his music box, and naoto his harmonica, because shiori from the start sympathized with him for his mother's death and naoto for his brother's. ♥♥DD:♥♥ That was soul-shattering and lovely and the best drama I've watched in some time and fdjslka; i wasn't expecting anything more than really good. o-chan and toma and minna are such good actors. Now I have to work on a Statistics project.


DID I MENTION THEY WERE ALL GORGEOUS, ESPECIALLY OHNO?? seriously, Deann and I were sitting, clutching one another in glee at four in the morning at all the really cute parts around the middle where there was all the really cute relationshippy stuff and jfdslk ; the lipgloss.

See??? I was not exaggerating about the amazing that is this drama. Everything you said, YES. Especially Ohno being gorgeous, cuz I totally never realized how attractive he is before I watched Maou and goodness. Yes. And is he not an AMAZING actor. His sad faces, yes, and also his surprised faces. The one that got me the most, I think, was that time, I think it was right after Shiori found out the truth about him, when he was going back to his office or apartment or wherever and she showed up out of nowhere and suprprised him and THE LOOK ON HIS FACE. ♥

It's one of those dramas that breaks your heart and yet it's so beautiful and amazing and somehow the tragedy feels okay in the end. I mean. Naruse with his head on Naoto's shoulder. I just. There are no words.

THE STUPID GLASSES GUY. I WAS SO UPSET. D:< He *almost* redeemed himself. He was so close, but NO, stupid otaku guy. And in the last episode too. GAHHH. You couldn't let ANYONE be happy could you, even when Naruse was finally trying to do the right thing.

One of the best dramas I have ever seen. So amazing. I am going to rewatch this drama over winter break with a friend and I am SO EXCITED. ♥ Okay, I'm done now. :D

I could respond to this with another really long rant, but when I was talking to my friend on the phone about it earlier today I started crying again. So I think I should wait a few days before I think about Maou too intensely.
