I always forget how nice and effortlessly fancy my east coast relatives are. We never see my Mum's side of the family more than once a year, if that. Everyone is funny and attractive and successful and I love them all a lot, even if we're (much) less glamorous in comparison. It especially nice to see my second cousins - my two cousins' children - who are all 4-11 and really cute and fun to entertain.
It was pretty cold and sarah wasn't there, but overall it was a fun trip. We looked at a lot of old photographs and my great great grandfather on the german side has this huge walrus moustache that is outlandish enough to make me think it was a fake picture for a second. Anyhow, they all looked like mobsters and I was v. amused.

I did absolutely no homework and we only got through two episodes of Maou because Rachel had some ten page paper she hadn't done. Ah, well. That's a bit farther than I thought we'd get, anyways. A word to the wise: watching the first episode of Zettai Kareshi on a plane in between two strangers is not a good idea. because there are subtitles. and Knight often asks Riiko to sleep with him.

Well, at least you got started with Maou. I don't know about you, but I was definitely hooked from the first episode. And LOL @ Zettai Kareshi~ XD

maou was fine on the plane until mr. glasses takes the wife of whoever into his apartment and they start snogging. But maybe it actually wasn't a good choice because (I was on the third episode) whenever there was a happy scene and Kuma was talking about his aspirations and there were just cute character interactions I'd start spazzing out and flailing because I would be thinking "too bad you're all going to die"

Haha, yeah, I would imagine that scene would be a tad awkward in a public setting.

I know right. D: Well, even though Maou was terribly tragic, at least it didn't leave me feeling depressed like A Million Stars Fall from the Sky did.

It's a drama starring KimuTaku and Fukatsu Eri. It's super super good. Definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat, and there are a lot of plot twists that you never would have seen one coming (one in particular), but in the end, everything finally comes together and it all makes sense but it's really terribly tragic. I really recommend it though. ♥ Just be prepared for the end (which I wasn't at all when I watched it...).
