shifty_gardenerSo today I was like, hay Grace (roommate who endures my ramblings)! Look, there's an article about those two hockey players I was telling you about! And she took one look at the headline and walked out of the room. I looked back and, of course, realized that the headline is pretty gay. Whoops?
Aaaaand then I watched the video that accompanied the article and made a gif from it. "But Nicole! You're a devout user of MS Paint and only MS Paint and also you didn't have a downloaded file of the video, how did you achieve this??" you ask? Well, I actually sat and screencapped every half second or so, saved the frames on paint, and then used this site to make the gif. xDDDDDDD Clearly, I am great and also totally technologically proficient and also not lazy at all. Anyhow, here is the gif:
This video was supposed to be about how they hate each other and are Terrible Foes and I...don't really see that? Idek man. I like to think that the only people the Pens hate are the Flyers and that the thing with Ovechkin is like that cousin you always wrestle with and like to try to best, you know?
laughing at myself. will hockey be the thing that makes me start using photoshop? hopefully not.
Hockey aside, Ursula Le Guin is coming to our school and talking tomorrow \o/ I'm so excitedddddd. She's yet another one of those authors I read when I was like 10 and whose philosophy, etc probably molded part of who I am. Also apparently Kroeber (the art/anthro building on campus) is named after her parents and she grew up here in Berkeley. o_O
Also will finally go to the Tang Center for the neck (and head >.>) injury that I incurred last Thursday. Sigh.
Freshman: right shin gash, tendonitis on left foot
Sophomore: pulled quad, pulled hamstring (perhaps both?), sprained (fractured?) right ankle
Junior: sprained right ankle -> left shin splints, pulled groin...I think
Senior: pulled groin, head and neck injury, pulled ab xD, weird achy arch of foot thing
