I really need new icons

I have soo much stuff to do this week (okay, so maybe it's just a midterm and typical lab hw I haven't done yet) so naturally instead I'm revisiting hockey primers and also intend to watch the blackhawks vs canucks tomorrow night. Jeff Skinner, other than being named after an X-Files character (okay, and maybe that one hot fuzz character) and having a face like sunshine and also pictures with ed sheeran, has entertaining figure skating schenanegans and bc the eponymy is worthy, I now bear vague good will towards the hurricanes. (also St Louis was playing the Canucks last night and TJ Oshie scored the winning goal in OT and I \o/ed a little because a small, entertained part of me hopes that TJ is going to make Toews buy him a drink the next time they're in the same city for that)
In other news, Cheryl Cole is the queen of my heart and possibly a werepanther, Cher is amajing, Aiden is a crazy person who uses bunny ears as a mating dance, and Rebecca's adorbs. As you do. Simon's "I can see dollar signs" facial expression is pretty great, too. Basically, the X-Factor is the longest show ever and will probably eat another weekend, which would be great and fine if kt didn't eat, like one meal a day, resulting in me sitting around with a loaf of challah to substitute for meals. Also Rachel likes to go to sleep at 4AM. I do not understand.
Why do I get into RPF fandoms when I have such a large embarassment squick?? /o\ Also apparently Seguin found a pairing primer with himself in it and posted a link on his twitter. Luckily the primer wasn't super shippy, but that is still so horrifying that I've decided to block it out, but in that way where Seguin seems like such a laid back, entertained person that maybe I don't mind it at all and that was the best person to have found that kind of thing. So I can believe that he broke the 4th wall, but not that he tweeted about it. Dx
Unagi: am totally going to beta that thing for you really soon, sorry for the delay >.< Also I got your letter but have not yet responded but can say that yes, you should totes visit in early March! Orrrr since I get off at like 11AM on Fridays, maybe I could like come on a Friday just as you get off work and then stay til like Sun morning? Or someth? (I would say sun night, but I have 9AM PE on mondays......)
I predict that this is how I am going to feel about the disaster this week is totes going to turn into (because, did I mention? the only food I have to my name rn is chocolate, craisins and peanuts):
OH ALSO KATIE I'M V SORRY BUT I THINK YOU HAVE CABLE SO I'M PROBS GOING TO WATCH THE PLAYOFFS AT YOUR PLACE. THAT IS A LOT OF GAMES. SORRY NOT SORRY.

Which is to say, you are more than welcome here, we will have to get minorly creative re: activities (as I don't know any off hand) but I believe in us? Also there will be no Buttercup (unless I convince him to come down too). I can also come up there but we would have less time together as traveling to Berkz at night on BART seems unsafe? IDK.
I would like to see you therefore I am open to anything?
