Omg I thought I got like a C on my history test because on the essay bit I forgot names and perhaps the order of Russo-Turkish treaties and I was supposed to show knowledge from the reading I only barely had started and from which I only gleaned that Tsar Nicholas had crazy mood swings (and, you know, I'm a bio major and it is an upper div Euro history course and the first Euro history I have learned anything about past reading King Leopold's Ghost in 9th grade) and I thought I'd have to change the class to P/NP and have a not-very-good GPA but I got it back today and I got an A-. *________________*


Also may have found the historical origin of the running gag in Monty Python and the Holy Grail about the French having already got the grail/occupying the castle Arthur is trying to find. Considering it has to do with the headwaters of the Nile and Arthur has to take a boat to the castle, I would say I'm probably right.
