shifty_gardenerI'm back at school. Oh, school. My roommate withdrew from Berkeley and is going to be a pastry chef, so apparently she'll only be staying with us til March, which makes me very sad. For people that are different in a lot of ways, we work freakishly well together as roommates, i.e. we both understand fandom while being on as far opposite ends of it as possible.
I saw my sort-of-bro yesterday (Rawen says we have a bromance, in any case) and somehow went from ramen to being in an Inception trailer for her frat. It was...curious.
I have decided to watch True Blood to perhaps become less prudish. Somehow reading gay porn does not make me want to accept the fact that I may have heterosexual sex someday, lol. It kept pausing, though, and the audio was pretty quiet, so it would stop in the middle of really intense scenes and Victoria and I would play very loud flash games, such as this realistic version of snake.
I talked to my friend who took Medical Ethnobotany over the summer and she said that for the lab she had to learn the latin names and (not necessarily latin) uses of 60 plants a week. I can only hope working over the summer in the lab has improved my work ethic.
The TV we have at school doesn't actually have cable, so I can't watch Suits in real time. I'm much more sad about this than I should be.
