I actually don't post here because I feel bad about cluttering other people's flists when I haven't been in JE fandom since I left for college/my rl JE fan friends. And then the more I don't post, the more I don't check my flist, and the more I don't check my flist, the more guilty I feel and the more I avoid everything. So, uh, unless you like random rants about children's lit/sherlock/rl, you can defriend me and my journal will return to its previous, frequent one-liner posts and general inanity.

Now that that's out of the way...
I don't want to leave my volunteer job. :( I'm an intern at a lab with a bunch of postdocs are married and foreigners, for some reason. This is kind of awesome because the postdoc I'm working with is british (so although our sense of humors don't match up at all and he probably thinks I'm kind of crazy, we still bond over the necessity of tea, etc) and sometimes gets texts from his wife that say things like "you left the cat in the cupboard all morning!" I feel reeeeeally bad because he's apparently trying to siphon off part of his salary and give it to me. ;_; I have been working 40 hours a week all summer, but really. He's, like, living an actual life and I can just mooch off of my parents. :(

XMEN. WHAT WAS THAT SHIT. I CRIED TWICE IN THE THEATRES AND ALMOST DID A THIRD TIME BUT WE WERE DOING A GAY DRINKING GAME IN THE THEATRES AND i AM A V HAPPY TIPSY/DRUNK. Like, I can't even say any more about this rn.

Reread the fandombnfs!Sherlock au and am v tempted to watch the Brett!Sherlock Holmes series, esp since it is live stream on Netflix. But do I even have time?

I went to comiccooonnnnnn and fjdkalf;jdl; the SPN cast are real people!! This is really all I can say, other than that this 8-year-old dressed as a weeping angel totally guilted the Dr Who writers by asking them when the doctor would regenerate as a woman (in front of 6,200 people. gotta love hall H.). I was seriously awesomed out.

Korea is such a lovely country to visit. I want to go there at least once a year. ;_;

Even though you don't post often or read my posts, I still enjoy your once-in-awhile posts. You were one of my first fandom friends and even though fandoms change, it doesn't feel right to let you go just yet. Does that sound cheesy? lol I think I'm just the type to want to know what'sup the more you've been gone xD

I clutter up my flist page with my graduate school crap, so I kinda feel you there, but hey, they choose to read it, right? ^^;;
