I watched Hanna the other day and, strangely enough, got deeply emotionally attached to Eric Bana's character within the first five minutes, the same way Sydney Carton in Tale of Two Cities immediately endeared me. ;___; (I later realized this is because Bana played Hector in that one movie that was about but perhaps not actually named Troy. basically, I decided he was pathetic and in need of protection) His relationship with his daughter is so beautiful and there's this one part near the end where he's like "I love you, surely you know that" and my heart went fhdklasl; because he's so gruff and badass and the only thing I could think of in the first 15 minutes of the movie was how I really wanted them to requite their affection for one another in some concrete way because what they had was so lovely and quiet. D: Why do I always attach myself to ridiculous characters/causes.
My bedroom window is above an alleyway where a chinese family bickers loudly from the back of their restaurant at night. The children voices usually emerge at 11 at night. I have concluded that they are vampires.
I had a taekwon do tournament today, which was much more fun and cat show-like than I expected. My friend and I were the only girl yellow belts so both of us got medals, lol. (this sounds fancy but I didn't actually spar. xD)
