lame camp politics and being demoted and stuck at the sister camp with all the new staff i didn't know and being really campsick/homesick for the first two days because I should have been at Winacka, damnit, aside, it turns out Fizgig watches kdrama and trailblazing is quite fun and Garfield is kind of amazing even if she gives me high fives with ranch dressing on her hand and trying to hurry from Winacka to Whispering Oaks is folly because the path is uphill and I didn't take a shower for six days so i was no longer blonde and omg homesick campers are the cutest thing ever and once I got to know the new staff everyone was really cool and the second week was so much better because I was actually in camp mode and got to hang out with Unagi and Waffle. on the break Awk T Rachel and I foolishly stayed up till 2 and made Fizgig a poll with stick figures of Ji Hoon, Go Jun Pyo and that one guy who tries to jump off the building in the first five minutes of Boys Over Flowers so she could ask people who they thought Jan Di should end up with.
Basically I'll actually get to be a counselor next week, long breaks are lovely, and last night I went to karaoke with Jennifer and the girl she brought back from Japan (I brought along rachel, katie, jeremy and sabrina + some kind of famous boy I ended up ignoring). Kyoko didn't speak much english so I ended up throwing together japanese ungrammatically at her and we muddled through somehow. :) It was quite fun - she looked sort of gangster but she was really nice and amused by us.
