shifty_gardenerIt's raining in San Diego and the wind chimes under the heating vent have been sounding all day. It's actually been raining since Friday, so on Saturday everyone at the science competiton huddled in their respective school's designated area for the three hours between the events and the awards ceremony. Harsha gave me henna, which, of course, I found out actually sucks the heat from your skin. It took forever to dry, but at least it looks cool, haha. Something to try for the next heat wave, anyways. xD Science Olympiad was strangely anticlimactic this year, with me not rushing to study during the year and the actual day flowing at a much different pace than normal. I did well in the things I least suspected to and vice versa. It was really fun though, hanging out with Harsha and seeing David from Japanese class and then talking to Kouichi-kun for more than five hours. He's going to teach me how to make Oyokodon.~
On Sunday I had the CIT reunion. (I got a clutch purse from the white elephant. xD I think I would give several people a heart attack if I used it.) I had to make epic vegan cookies because I knew that was what Sharpie wanted and ended up substituting craazy things for things I didn't have (who knew applesauce and peanut butter would work as an egg replacer in the place of flaxseed?) and accidentally overcooking them (They didn't look done at first. and I was watching Voice 4 xD). Anyhow, the usual happened, where they said lots of "I <3 you so much, Giles! / Buy a Disneyland pass!" It was nice to see everyone again.~
I think I should just start screencapping Voice or something, so I can vent my unadulterated glee at all of the Dragon pair and ringtones and TOMA. and eita and ♥. I watched Dororo, a not really samurai movie that's fantasy and has Shibasaki Kou with awesome hair as a badass thief, and Eita showed up! With long hair! I was v. surprised and awesomed out. I can't wait for Dororo 2. :D Other than that, I watched most of the first episode of Rescue (so long -_-;), Love Shuffle (which is ridiculous and much better than I expected it to be), QED 5 and the first three episodes of Mendol. Oh, Mendol. I'm horrified and interested in what happens next but mostly my brain. It hurts. For the record, I think the random playboy guy that starts to fall for the main girl looks like a cross between Mizushima Hiro and the other guy that was in everything and played Himejima. Yet again, I am torn between liking and being grossed out with him on principle.

KT and I are lucky we were there, because otherwise you would use our necks for warming and we would sit there dutifully and not protest. XD
