shifty_gardenerSomehow I had a very busy weekend. It was Trish's birthday party (full of posh asians, and Katie convinced me to completely overdress so I didn't take off my coat the whole night) and my mum's birthday (we went to the zoo and the pandas were out! they were so cute~ We also watched Emma, which is always a good idea, because Gwenyth Paltrow is absolutely perfect for the role.) and Rachel left for college and Katie, Deann and I drove places and wandered around as they took pictures with their super snazz cameras for an afternoon. Basically I did no homework and now know where a cheap karaoke place is! :DD I'm so going again after finals.
Last night I went to check ourhour just for kicks. Everything I wanted to see had been subbed. and you can only dl one thing at once on mu. and I had a 2 hour science olympiad meeting to go to. It was somewhat hectic. Anyhow, I'm too lazy to cut this, so here are my vague opinions:
Voice - Eita! Toma! That one second-best guy from Nodame! 8D there is no way I would not like this show. What's cool about Voice is that you immediately like most of the characters and they're all carefree and funny and click with each other really well, so even if you don't like the case they're working on or if the end is really rushed *cough*, the episode is still worth watching. ♥
Uta no Onii-san - Amaaazing! Maru was so cute and sincere and vulnerable in this. :x I hope he has a big part in most of the episodes.~ Ohno's a really good actor. His character's life sucks, haha, and he plays the exasperated, drained role very well. And oh the prince. xD I'm not sure what else the actor's been in, but he's really familiar. I hope the next episode is subbed soon, because I liked this drama the best so far.~
Mei-chan no Shitsuji - This show is ridiculous. My friend describes it as a mix between Hanadan and Hana Kimi, and it most certainly is. The main character is Eri from Prodai, but with short hair and glasses. ♥♥ She's the cutest thing ever and will probably be why I keep watching this drama. That one actor that's Nanba from Hana Kimi and the boss from Zettai Kareshi as well as Otoya from Bloody Monday are also in it as brothers and the two other people in the epic love triangle that is definitely going to happen and Yamada Yu is also in it, being badass and basically this show is so cracky and shoujo but the cast is really awesome so Katie and I think we'll just wait for it all to be subbed to marathon it, which is how shoujo is meant to be enjoyed.
Galileo Zero has also been subbed, but I haven't got around to watching it yet~ Miura + Galileo = yes prz. *_____* I hope I'm not disappointed.
I was coerced into watching the happy parts of Koizora and it was so cute. *_____* there is no no no way I am ever watching the rest of it though, because it would rip my heart to pieces in a beautiful, beautiful way.
To do: Emma! Psych project! CD for KC! L&C essays! Scholarships! Go to sleep before 10:30!
Somehow I think only one or two of these things will be done... :\

nobody i know is watching this, it's like crack and i love it. plus it's based on a shoujo manga, which explains the flowery borders and over extravagantness. xD
yamada yu is way too old for this show, imo.

Of course, I was already planning to watch it for Mizushima Hiro (whose name you really should know, since you've seen him in so many things, haha. He was in Bloody Monday??? Haha, that's effective, at least. Everyone knows who you mean. XD He seems to be pretty popular these days, which is why he's one of the select non-JE actors whose names I actually know. I actually really like him quite a lot, especially after Zettai Kareshi, but of course in Hana Kimi too. ♥

And for the record, it's Mizushima Hiro. ^_^'' I had a hard time remembering his name at first, but luckily both of the kanji in his name are ones that I can recognize (water and island), and that helped me remember, haha.

Of course, I thought she was talking about Mizushima and started freaking out because that would have been random, uncalled for, and kind of horrible. xD It took me a day or so to realize my mistake, haha.)
