Watching Alec and Or bicker for two and a half hours today = A++++++++++. Alec is so biting and sarcastic and deadpan and has these crazy elegant hand movements where he kind of curls his fingers when deciding something or writes calculations with perfect handwriting after tapping away at a calculator. I was amused because he kept agreeing to things I suggested, several times right after he refused them when they came from Or, who always protested with a half smile on his face. xD We had an epic mancala tournament, during which Or lost four times (even though he went first most of the time), and then drilled things for a while with the occasional "screwing" joke. They're both ridiculously smart, so I'm happy I kind of fit in and didn't stand around awkwardly for most of the time. ♥ Science olympiad can be pretty awesome in that it lets you hang out with really cool people you wouldn't see normally, even if you're super bad at the event.


So Katie (mirai_nante) and Deann (deetheninja) came over last night for 1) a drama marathon of either Ryuusei no Kizuna or Hana Yori Dango and 2) taking purikura stickers at Wow so I could put it on a christmas card for godsgirl7. Neither of these things happened. Wow was closed, something I have never witnessed before (but we went out for Japanese food across the way, anyways), and we ended up watching perfs and everything else on Katie's external harddrives and somehow whiling time away before topping off the evening with the first episode of Bloody Monday. It was so much fun! We curled up in blankets and tried to teach Deann who was who in Kanjani8 and fangirled TORN and watched junior!Shige singing next to Takki while people in rollerblades glided around them. The next morning, we woke up far too late, made pancakes and watched more Bloody Monday. ♥
Tomorrow I'm finishing college essays and the sisters are coming home, あさて I'm going to Disneyland for Unagi's birthday, and the day after that I'm going out to lunch with Katie and Trish and then having a Christmas dinner at Chris and Mary's house. Rachel, my friends and I have to see Slumdog Millionaire sometime, and apparently the miniseries Pride and Prejudice is happening. I'm so excited~ I really need to buy everyone their presents, though. ^_^; Oh, to be busy.



Random: Rachel apparently knows someone whose friend is Koki's cousin. (although she just said "the bald guy from KAT-TUN. xD) Japan is a small place, ne.

Oh my god. I was so f-ing cold earlier. But than I started to clean my room (I'm taking a break. Too much dust makes my nose hurt D:) and I was all warm. And now I'm sorta cold again. D: But tea sounds lovely. I think I'll go make some. :D

Perhaps my slice of life dreams are catching? because I totally have a lot of random little dreams of little details I want to happen/things I am anxious about/ etc sometimes.

During the epic mancala tournament, some other guy was making fun of Or and saying something like "you're disappointing down me, Alec, Pitzer" and then Alec chipped in "and Nicole" and djslkf; it made me so happy because I didn't really think anyone knew my name because all I do is lurk around and laugh at their cutting remarks. ♥♥ I love being included~ (although I realize I'd been in an event with him last year. But still, we never talked, so. yes.)

curling your fingers around a warm cup and breathing into the steam, making it fwoosh up into your face = best thing everrrr. (haha we could form an informal committee in congress - people with cold houses! 8D)
